The Network Manager has overall accountability for administering the network functions and ensuring service satisfaction. This team is responsible for designing and operating all of Digikala’s massive scale data center networks. Our data center networks provide high bandwidth and low latency solutions for aggregating server racks. Managers in this organization own supporting the hardware platforms, defining the physical topologies, routing architectures and software control systems for these networks.
Responsibilities:
-Managing vendors in installations, configurations, and maintaining servers and services -Develop and interpret network design and solutions to meet immediate and future business needs. -May function in a lead capacity within department and represent department in workflow and escalation discussions with others. -Work closely with Network Engineering to ensure fast, smooth rollout of new designs and products & collaborate with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles -Upgrade and maintain network equipment. -Perform network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems. -Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation. -Disaster recovery all network services and devices. -Infrastructure based on needs and requirements (LAN/WAN/Wireless) -Ensure highest level of availability, reliability and performance. -Perform diagnosis, troubleshoot, and conduct root-cause analysis for any issues escalated on virtualization or data center related.
Requirements
-5+ years experience in network management/team lead role
-Practical Experience with Cisco Routers, Switches and Fortigate devices
-Experience in DC infrastructure operations
-Deep understanding of networking protocols
-Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN network administration and maintenance practices
-Network security experience
-Familiar with wireless network implementation and maintenance
-Familiarity with ITIL is an advantage
-Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
-Strong working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems, Microsoft Services and server hardware components
-Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT infrastructure and software
-Self-motivated and adept problem-solving orientation
-Professionalism and/or demonstrated customer service skills
