Karoon Phosphate Products Complex Company was established in 2004 in line with the ideals of self-sufficiency and development of industrial capacities and with the aim of supplying raw materials for downstream industries required by domestic and foreign markets in Abadan Free Zone, Industrial Town 1 Phase 3 in 2004 and in 2014. Has been put into operation. The company has been established on a 6-hectare land for the final production of 50,000 tons per year of the strategic sodium triphosphate material. STPP production plan has been established for the first time in Iran. The contract for the implementation of the project in the form of engineering and supply of goods and supervision of execution was concluded with a foreign contractor with technical knowledge and installation operations by Iranian companies in 2005.
