Comica Group is an Iranian entertainment company founded in 2015 in Tehran, Iran. The group started its activity by researching pop culture products and the potential for these products in Iran; with the main goal of creating comic book superheroes. In light of the research that had been done, it was decided to first stablish the Comica studio, the first comic studio in Iran. To pursue our goal of making a world class comic book, in summer 2017, we gathered the best artist and writers and began the pre-production of our first comic book; in spring 2018, Ilia was published. By studying the most successful companies in comic industry, Comica Group successfully created the first production line of comic books in Iran. Top quality and fast production are our notable characteristic which allowed us to produce more than 200 pages of comic in less than a year. Comica’s Goal The main goal of Comica Group is to achieve an efficient merchandising business model based on comic characters. animations, comics, motion comics, video games, toys and stationery are some of the products that Comica group is planning for them. Elia comic series is the main product of Comica Group so far; which will be published bimonthly. It is the story of a boy named Elia and his friends who get some divine superpowers and use it to confront with the secret army of Cain, the main villain character of the series who wants to dominate the world and establish a new world order. But Elia and his friends with help of their master, Khidr, learn how to stand against the enemy. The story is based on original Irainian- Islamic beliefs and is influenced by Persian mythology and some contemporary heroes.
