Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – Generative AI to develop and lead Digikala’s GenAI product strategy with a focus on user experience, discovery, and innovation. This role bridges AI capabilities and commerce experiences — turning cutting-edge LLM and multimodal technologies into intuitive, trustworthy, and delightful user-facing products. You will work closely with Shopping Experience teams, AI/ML engineering, data science, and design to imagine, prototype, and scale GenAI features that enhance how millions of users interact with Digikala. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategy & Vision Define and own the vision and roadmap for Generative AI across Digikala’s shopping experiences. Identify, prioritize, and validate AI-driven opportunities that elevate personalization, discovery, and engagement. Build alignment between business goals, user needs, and AI research directions. 2. Product Development & Execution Partner with AI and engineering teams to translate advanced GenAI capabilities into real, user-facing products. Lead end-to-end development of GenAI-powered features — from ideation and prototyping to experimentation and scaling. Design and oversee experiments to measure impact on engagement, conversion, and satisfaction.Balance innovation with performance, scalability, and responsible AI use. 3. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate deeply with Shopping Experience teams to integrate GenAI into product discovery, recommendations, search, and content.Work with AI scientists and platform engineers to ensure robust model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.Partner with UX researchers and designers to create human-AI interactions that feel natural, helpful, and trustworthy. 4. User-Centric Innovation Continuously explore new modes of interaction (chat, voice, visual) and generative experiences (e.g., personalized buying guides, conversation-driven discovery). Represent the voice of the user in all GenAI initiatives, ensuring solutions are transparent, ethical, and valuable. Champion a test-learn-scale culture, bringing creative AI concepts to market rapidly. 5. Metrics & Outcomes Define and track success metrics such as: Increase in conversion and engagement from AI-powered experiences. Reduction in decision friction through conversational or guided interfaces.Improvement in personalization and satisfaction scores.Speed and quality of AI feature iteration. Qualifications Minimum Requirements 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in AI/ML, data, or user experience innovation. Proven record of launching user-facing AI products (e.g., conversational AI, personalization, content generation). Strong understanding of LLMs, multimodal AI, RAG, and AI evaluation methods.Deep empathy for users and ability to translate complex technology into simple, valuable experiences. Excellent communication and leadership skills to align cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in e-commerce, digital marketplaces, or large-scale consumer products. Familiarity with AI product ethics, safety, and explainability frameworks.
