Job Description

Objective of the role:

Pricing & Launch Readiness Manager will be a member of Market Access and Public Policy team at Roche Pars Pharma division. The main purpose of this role is to create optimal pricing strategies and scenario planning for the lifecycle of Roche Pharma products (i.e. list and net prices), explore potential Flexible Pricing Solutions (FPS) and supporting the enhancement of pricing capabilities of the affiliate, conduct price approval process with Global Pricing, and create pipeline portfolio strategy in line with the affiliate’s prioritizations and establish launch readiness planning and activities.

List of responsibilities

Pricing:

- Understand the impact of international reference pricing, cross-indication referencing and launch sequencing, price execution, and price maintenance risk (price changes, changes of references prices) on price setting
- Perform pricing analysis and also trade-off analysis (price/volume/time/launch sequence) for price, brand, and portfolio optimization.
- Drive development and implementation of innovative and flexible pricing and contracting solutions and alternative reimbursement models, aligned with global pricing policies, reflecting the holistic value proposition of Roche and assess the potential impact of such solutions to the business
- Provide competitive intelligence reports (data, analyses, and reports) on pricing & reimbursement of Roche and competitor products for use by local and regional stakeholders

Launch Readiness:

- Track the developments in Roche’s pipeline, inform relevant internal stakeholders and create Roche pipeline repository in the affiliate
- Create Pipeline Portfolio Prioritization and create a strategy for prioritized pipeline products and establish and run short and long term planning including a 90-day road map
- Analyze the disease areas and market dynamics related to the pipeline portfolio and define unmet medical needs
- Make early engagements in the relevant disease areas with KOLs, TAEs, public stakeholders, etc. in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders

Requirements

University Qualifications: - Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or Science Degree is required - Postgraduate business degree is a plus Nature & Length of Previous Experience: - Professional experience in Market Access, Pricing, Business Analysis, Finance, and Market Insights in Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry. Specialist Knowledge: - Very strong project management is essential - Excellent skills in data management and analysis software - Advanced analytical skills to figure out tough problems and craft thoughtful, clear, and innovative solutions towards payer success - Strong business presentation skills: effective at summarizing and presenting the key considerations and decision-points - Advanced English verbal and written communication skills Soft Skills & Personality Traits: - Proven track record of effective decision-making: makes good business decisions and exercises sound judgment - Desire and ability to work in an agile organization, embracing change and new flexible ways of working together based on trust, where individual contributors are empowered with self-leading and learning - Excellent partnering skills, as evidenced by previous positions and responsibilities - Strong influencing skills: can influence without authority and has proven experience building and cultivating relationships with key partners/stakeholders - Strong team player and collaboration focused with strong cross-functional teaming skills: has consistently excelled in cross-functional teams and regularly demonstrated effective leadership skills - Strong negotiation skills: can effectively drive discussions and decisions toward desired outcomes
