Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Handling Export/Import Documentation
- Updating Export/Import document data in OTMS+ software
- Coordinating with BND branch and depots for releasing empty units to shippers
- Issuing export B/L for shippers and concerned line POD offices
- Issuing Import D/O for consignee
- Co-ordinating with shippers/Consignee and finance department for the payments of Export/Import shipments
- Preparing Daily Status Report of Export/Import Shipment and Tracking the movement on a daily basis.
- Circulating Export manifests, documents and TDR report to line offices
- Arranging with Feeder Operators to get space on vessels for export shipments after getting approval from concerned line
- Liaison with overseas vendors for monitoring the shipments.
- Tracking and Update Client for Shipment Status
Requirements
Experience: - At least 3 years’ experience at document and operation departments in shipping companies Key Skills: - Comprehensive knowledge of procedures and documentation related to importing and exporting. - Proficient in MS Office applications - Knowledge of English language at intermediate level in writing and speaking - Full knowledge of OTMS+ software
